Father's Office: Best Burger In Los Angeles?

During my visit to this acclaimed gastropub, I was lucky enough to indulge in a plethora of dishes, most of which I didn’t get the best photos of (in my defense, I was starved and enthusiastic - there was no time for photos). Garlicky Spanish mushrooms, plump piquillo peppers (stuffed with goat cheese and served on crunchy grilled bread), prime hanger steak - all incredible. However, there was one dish I had to take time to photograph:
The Office Burger®️

A concoction by culinary genius and esteemed chef, Sang Yoon, this burger is highly regarded as one of Los Angeles’ most exquisite. Dry-aged beef serves as the focal point of this sandwich; cooked more on the rare side (which is how I personally prefer my burgers), this aged patty sports a richer, tender flavor that is unlike most other burger patties. Two types of cheese - gruyere and Maytag blue - add a sharp pungency atop the meat, while the arugula adds a fresh, slightly bitter layer. The presence of sweet caramelized onion and crisp, succulent bacon - two of my ideal burger toppings - sit beneath the toasted bun to complete this premium burger.
There are no substitutions or alterations allowed for this meal, as Chef Yoon encourages patrons to eat the burger the way he intended. A precisely crafted dish, the Office Burger®️ is noted for its influence in the culinary world, with many attributing it as the “Father” of gourmet burgers that are ever so predominant today. I look forward to a post-pandemic day where I can return to Father's Office to indulge in their quality offerings.
Until then, I will continue to reminisce.
